About Us

At Home Farewell Vet

At Home Farewell Vet is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and dignified end-of-life care for beloved pets in the comfort of their own homes. We understand how difficult it can be to say goodbye to a cherished companion, which is why our goal is to make the process as peaceful and stress-free as possible for both pets and their families.

We work closely with trusted veterinary professionals and aftercare providers to offer a complete range of support, from in-home euthanasia services to cremation and memorial options. By providing guidance and care throughout every stage of the journey, we aim to give families a single, supportive point of contact during an emotional and challenging time.

Peaceful Goodbye

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. Choosing at-home euthanasia allows your pet to remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings, surrounded by the people who love them most. Whether you are saying farewell to a dog, cat, rabbit, or another cherished companion, a home visit helps create a calm, gentle, and stress-free experience.

Meet Our Veterinary surgeon

Silviu

My name is Silviu, and I’m an independent veterinary surgeon registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I’m also the founder of this compassionate euthanasia service based in Lincoln. With over 15 years of experience as a veterinary surgeon in the UK, I have come to deeply understand the bond between people and their pets. I truly believe that our animals are not just companions—they are family. When the time comes to say goodbye, they deserve peace, dignity, and the comfort of familiar surroundings. The service was created to offer a gentle, respectful way to say goodbye at home. My approach focuses on supporting the entire family, providing calm, compassionate care that honours both the pet’s comfort and the emotional needs of those who love them.

Meet Our Practice Manager

Cecilia

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and public service, I bring a strong background in organisation, client care, and animal welfare to the practice. After completing my bachelor’s degree in social work, I worked in private healthcare and later as an Animal Health Officer at Heathrow Airport, ensuring the welfare of small animals in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent client service standards.

Animals have always been a central part of my life, having grown up around my grandparents’ smallholding. At home, I’m also a proud mother and share our family life with Woody the dog, Bella the cat, exotic fish, and a small flock of chickens.

Behind the scenes, I oversee the administrative and organisational side of the practice, helping to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and supporting in delivering high-quality care to every patient.
